Pre-order is only a must if game beta is as successful as Blizzards World of Warcraft. Everyone who heard how good the beta was and those who played it pre-ordered it instantly. It was wise because with the very first retail all shops sold out in minutes and people had to wait several days to get their copies.
Also some limited editions might be sold out pretty fast.
If you PS3 owners think PS3 is the best you can get and will eventually win (has already won, like some say) this stupid console war, why do you all get so mad about "news" like these? A bit unsure..uh?

I care only when my 360 drops dead (if ever, still launch 2005 version) and I only buy PS3 when it actually has games to play and is cheaper, I could not care less about the blu-ray thing. Playing games, now that's something.

Gamers like games, xbox 1 has a lot more to offer what comes to choice at the moment. PS3 won't sell if it can't offer anything. I'm one of the many that actually want to see and maybe experience the glorius games before buying console as expensive.
er.. Lair looked the worst, imho. Some nice gameplay mayhem coming up for sure. Nothing superior in graphical side though.. meaning better than 360 games, they're equal. Good sh!t anyhow, looks fun.

I will speak up when I encounter these problems. So far I am happy and I have no proofs of these what so ever hardware problems. Obviously there are some, but there are also loads of propaganda. Anyhow I will act only if I encounter this sh!t. Zero reasons at the moment.

Seriously, have you guys heard the story of the game yet? Things tend to evolve, like in real life. I don't give a damn if the main char is granny in a wheelchair if it suits the story and is great game. I guess most here wants plastic made heroes with pectoral implants and shiny teeth.

OMG YES... really humiliating! I wonder how we 360 users can stand it. Halo3 should be coming in 1 blu-ray disc!...ah damn forgot, there is no games coming to blu-ray discs or consoles that use them, humiliating indeed.
Seriously though, how does it matter if you have to change the disc? Why don't all games come in one and in the same disc, then I would not have to change the disc ever!.. wow.
It was ok, not great just ok, well based on my 5minutes I played it. Was in a hurry.
Shadowrun instead really felt like a damn great multiplayer game.
Eventually PS3 might catch up and go lead. 2010 might be the year. That is when Microsoft launches their next system/console what ever.. 360 becomes 5 years old, so it might happen. I don't think it will lead long unless it is sold from the sales basket.
